WEEKLY REFLECTION-1

[07/08/2024 - 9/08/24]

 As per the B.Ed curriculum 2023-2025,third semester teaching practice started on 7/8/2024 at APPMVHSS,Avaneeswaram school.

There are 14 colleagues with me. At the first we reached the school at 9.30 and met the Head mistress sreekala teacher and she gives instructions for the teaching practice. I got classes 8A and 8B both malayalam and English medium classes for teaching. The first day was an introduction class.I started the chapter polygon for both classes.

On the second day, I have class on the 3rd and 4 th period in 8A and 8B classes respectively. And I got substitution class in 8A in the 2^nd period  which was my class. Where I taught I remaing part of polygons.

On the 3rd day ,August 9 our school organises a special assembly for commemorate the tragic anniversary of Hiroshima and Nagazki day. Our school Head mistress sreekala miss inagurated the assembly and programmes. Pupil conducted Poster presentation, rally ,drees up for remembering our nation leaders.After that I got classes 8B in the 2nd period and 8A in the 3^rd period.

        CONSCIENTIZATION PROGRAMME REPORT                                                           As part of our B.Ed Curriculum, We conducted a conscientization programme on "MOBILE ADDICTION AMONG CHILDREN" at APPMVHSS, Avaneeswaram on 18th october 2024 at 1.15 pm to 2.00 .Mobile addiction among children is an increasingly prevalent issue, influenced by the widespread availability of smartphones and tablets.This make harmful healthy issues and diseases. To address these issues, parents and caregivers can set limits on screen time, encourage alternative activities, and foster open discussions about responsible mobile use. Schools can also play a role by integrating digital literacy programs. WEEKLY REFLECTION-V

 30/12/2024 - 03/01/2025 This week was a blend of planned lessons, unexpected challenges, and meaningful interactions. The days started with morning assemblies that set a positive tone, featuring themes like perseverance and gratitude. In my scheduled classes, I focused on incorporating interactive teaching methods, which encouraged students to participate actively. Substitution classes provided opportunities to connect with students from other grades, allowing me to adapt and explore different teaching approaches. The midday meal breaks were moments of observat ion and informal conversations with students and fostering a sense of connection. A significant event this week was the PTA meeting,  with parents to discuss students' progress and improvement.
