WEEKLY REFLECTION-lll

This marks the third week of my teaching practice. I took five classes on this week. Itook one models of teaching- concept Attainment Model for introducing the concept of isoscles trapezium. The students gave positive responses and were active in the class. So the concept was clear for the children.I use various slides,activity cards and charts as teaching aides. 

The 10^th standard students went to tour along with our Headmistress. I had several substitutions throughout this week. On friday, our manager observed school compounds,classes. Everyday my colleagues and I served the food during lunch break. 

Overall ,I felt more confidence after each classes and more excited.

Conscientization programme

        CONSCIENTIZATION PROGRAMME REPORT                                                           As part of our B.Ed Curriculum, We conducted a conscientization programme on "MOBILE ADDICTION AMONG CHILDREN" at APPMVHSS, Avaneeswaram on 18th october 2024 at 1.15 pm to 2.00 .Mobile addiction among children is an increasingly prevalent issue, influenced by the widespread availability of smartphones and tablets.This make harmful healthy issues and diseases. To address these issues, parents and caregivers can set limits on screen time, encourage alternative activities, and foster open discussions about responsible mobile use. Schools can also play a role by integrating digital literacy programs. WEEKLY REFLECTION-V

 30/12/2024 - 03/01/2025 This week was a blend of planned lessons, unexpected challenges, and meaningful interactions. The days started with morning assemblies that set a positive tone, featuring themes like perseverance and gratitude. In my scheduled classes, I focused on incorporating interactive teaching methods, which encouraged students to participate actively. Substitution classes provided opportunities to connect with students from other grades, allowing me to adapt and explore different teaching approaches. The midday meal breaks were moments of observat ion and informal conversations with students and fostering a sense of connection. A significant event this week was the PTA meeting,  with parents to discuss students' progress and improvement.
